Reemplazan Cónsul Dominicana en Toronto

Danny Chevalier, presidente de Copropcanada, expresó su agradecimiento al Ministro Roberto Álvarez por su liderazgo al atender las preocupaciones sobre el Consulado Dominicano en Toronto. Destacó los cambios positivos implementados, incluyendo la remoción de la anterior cónsul y su esposo asesor, considerándolo un paso importante hacia la transparencia y la buena gestión. Aunque no se confirma si la carta enviada el pasado 27 de enero influyó directamente, Chevalier valoró la resolución y reafirmó su confianza en el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores. I am writing to sincerely thank you for your decisive leadership in addressing the concerns at the Dominican Consulate in Toronto. We are pleased to see the positive changes implemented, which reflect your commitment to ethical governance and fair representation for all Dominicans abroad.

While we do not know if our January 27th letter directly contributed to this outcome, we are nonetheless grateful for the resolution. The removal of the previous consul and her advisor husband marks an important step toward transparency and accountability values we know you uphold with great dedication.

This progress reinforces our trust in your leadership and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We look forward to continued collaboration in promoting our nation’s unity and pride in Canada.
