Nota luctuosa. A fallecido en la ciudad de puerto plata Silvestre Santos “Gafa”
Silvestre Santos, conocido como “Gafa” falleció trágicamente el martes 2 de junio de 2009 en Puerto Plata, República Dominicana. Gafa lamentablemente murio por causa de accidente mientras conducía un cuatrimotor “4wheeler” en el trabajo.
El vehículo se precipito cuando bajando una colina le fallaron los frenos.
Sabiendo que no podía detener el vehiculo, rápidamente tiró fuera al pasajero sentado detrás de él, logrando salvar su vida. Lamentablemente, Gafa no pudo ayudarce a sí mismo.
Para aquellos de ustedes que conocían a “Gafa” este acto es sólo otro ejemplo de cuan generoso era. Fue conocido por su gran amor por la vida, su seriedad y su generosidad. El fue un verdadero regalo para todos los que le conocieron.
Un maravilloso esposo, padre y amigo “Gafa” dejo para siempre por su bella esposa Megan y sus cuatro niños encantadores, Estefanía, Génesis, Jonathan y Pamela. Aunque su tiempo con nosotros fue demasiado breve estaremos siempre agradecidos por los años que teníamos y los recuerdos con los que nos ha dejado.
Gafa, te llevaremos en el corazon y te amaremos para siempre …

Silvestre Santos, known as “Gafa” tragically passed away on Tuesday June 2nd, 2009 in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.
Gafa was regrettably killed driving a 4wheeler while at work. The vehicle picked up speed going down a hill and the breaks failed.
Knowing that he was unable to stop, he quickly threw off the passenger sitting behind him allowing him to land safely. Sadly, Gafa was unable to help himself. For those of you who knew Gafa this selfless act is just another example of how generous he was. Gafa’s love for life, his thoughtfulness and generosity was a true gift to all who knew him.
A wonderful husband, father and friend Gafa will be forever missed by his beautiful wife Megan and his four charming children, Estefania, Genesis, Jonathan and Pamela. Although his time with us was too short we will always be thankful for the years we had and the memories he has left us with.
Gafa, we will cherish and love you forever…
